A bath of relish

Updated on July 29, 2013

Love and beauty are essentially hand in hand.

A bath of relish

I really don’t know where to begin

I’m in love with you

That is sort of the beginning

But for what reason or

What possible motive

Could lead me to love and

Myself for, to most people, nothing

I love because it’s a mystery

Waiting to be picked up

I’ll never understand you and perhaps

That is what I want

Understanding is simple dull and

You are none of those things

You drive me insane and make me

Scream out at every injustice

Somehow I’ve made the connection

There’s no wrong that you can do

To me

If I could be alone, silent with you

That would be enough

If you aggravated me and made me cry

I’m sure I’d relish in it

A bit

Call it a shame or saddening

But this is love

In its ultimate glory

Building a wall to hide behind

A wall to make

Feel safe and secure

It does make one wonder sometimes just why we love at all, but in the long run it's all worth it. A beautiful poem. :)
