A boy with a man's vision

Updated on May 26, 2014

A boy with a man's vision

I want to play, whatever crosses my mind today,

Something fun and exciting, as long as I can play,

Explain to me why I can not play now,

I want to make a happy sound,

I see the things in my life that makes play go astray,

Is life really this hard, to not play my way,

When I want to play, a sad song relays my life,

This is definately not what I want to hear , nor play, but what can I say,

I can think about life, and change it in my head, that would be fun,

And create a better way to speak what needs to be said, and play till I'm tired of fun,

But l'm just a boy, living in a man's nightmare,

I feel ashamed to not be able to share, the pain that places

A man's hands behind his back and laces his body and ties it down,

I just frown, thats all I can do, but I see and feel it all,

But I'm just a boy with a man's vision,

I just wanted to have some time to play today, thats all.

Within every man is the child whose youth was shortened by responsibilities and realities. Good work!
