A broken promise: A Poem

Updated on February 1, 2014

For more of my poetry please find it on my blog.

Dig deep into something that is not too clear

Only beginning to let the feelings appear

Their scars burn deep as the sun rises

I am not ok with the way this has been done

Respect is the issue, so bright and painful

You’re understanding is now on the table

I am over begging and trying

It is your turn or this will be dying

Everlasting is the hurt and burden

This is the bed, now pull the curtain

I am over loving and comforting

It is your turn to begin my healing

Crashing Back Down by Author Kristen Hope Mazzola, her debut novel, is now LIVE!! Don't miss out on this awesome read!

Very profound poem here of the onset of such overwhleming pain that it had to come out.

It can be exhausting and heartbreaking to always be the one to give, this was an excellent write full of emotion that shows that sometimes we have to draw the line !
