A maze of grace
A Maze of Grace
A maze of grace I have now known as I walk within your love,
Suffering I have seen and pain I have felt.
Still never have I been without your touch.
Indeed this is a maze of grace, and your mercy has furnished it's walls
I once was against you- but still you were for me
so now I can call you my All.
A fearless place is a maze of grace
No matter my turn I see your face
And yes it's corridors you have lain with love
And yes, and yes still! I now know the peace of trust!
Oh this Maze of Grace, hopeful place,
where even a soul can be set free!
You would think it not true- but indeed it is!
Because in it I am called Redeemed!
Oh this maze of grace it knows no ends
A sheer mercy so mighty no soul comprehends
Bought with the Cross at your own expense
The forsaken son, of my peace the Prince.
So a maze of grace, Lord, I do now know,
because you've housed me in your love,
I once was lost, but now I have a home,
And you have prepared it for me above.
The Lord's house- we are already there!
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus" (Eph 2:6)
Brothers and sisters, children of El Shaddai- The Lord Almighty,
We walk through this earth, though it is not our home. Consider that we are in the lower house making our way to the room he hath prepared for us,
"In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you." (John 14:2)
And He will take us Home,
"For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end." (Psalm 48:14)
