A New Symphony, a Greater Music Dances... Eloquently

My Beloved said to me: Listen to the reeds,

For like the nightingales,

They send sweet songs, to the temple of the Spirit.

Come! Attend to their eloquence;

Do not mind if the strings of thy lute be broken,

For they send trillions of melodies,

Singing of life in the valley of Love.

I smiled a sweet smile and held Her gaze,

But I melted like snowflakes,

Peering at those endearing eyes.

She washed my feet with Her Heart’s tears;

Erased my pains with Her beauty;

Wept with Joy within a Heart on fire,

Calling out Her name.

O Lover! If all life’s cadences stood still,

Your enthralling music will remain,

Spinning and whirling, like a Dervish,

In the sacred mansion of the Soul.

The thrill of Thy tenderness lies deep within;

A new spark, constantly arises to light the withered candle,

Trailing a blaze of lustre, to the garden of perennial Light.

Be silent! A new symphony … a greater music dances… eloquently.

      On any given day, I can be a flute or a snare drum. It just depends on the mood. :) Sending blessings and love your way, my friend.
