A passionate walk through the field
Don't you feel it...I do...I do as well...the feeling of fertile ground between my feet to shoe to dirt below,
What a prospect...smack the dead stalk down...you will grow later...the earth...no Gaia needs you now,
You know our world can't even help feed each other now...humans starving even though you grow every year...need to export to fed the poor elsewhere,
Wait then we will starve...such a delicate balance this place you call nature is...it's sneaky uprising of various catastrophes to lower the populations everywhere.
You know I feel your energy...I feel as though your energy is strained though...is it because of the never ending crop manufacturing without crop rotation,
I know from my studies of your soil that you will crumble four cycles from now...please don't fall apart like that,
I wish there something I could do to save your eventual downfall...but in doing so I would almost certainly give up the forests chance to grow back over you...wildlife growing back into the pool of life,
It's a split decision that humanity must make for me...I am just one soul...one speck of energy among Gaia's larger picture.
It is here that I will make my pact with you old one...four hundred years of human cultivation have left you cracked apart,
If I eve am to begin making enough to change the environment...I will start with natures revitalization...it's creativity,
Your fields will overgrow...trees will grow...and your true inspirations will be revealed for the world to see,
Let it be known...I am indebted to natures true cause...my only need to keep the environment fit for my legacies to come.
My families must not suffer from humanities wrong choices...it is in so that this corn field will be known for centuries to come,
The future generations will continue to let your corn grow among the growing trees...and will pick acorns and corn,
Therefore hunting will come back into the picture...animals for food...not for sport,
Oh cornfield it's all so complicated...but as I walk through you...I feel your passion for the old cries of natural preservation.
