A perennial prisoner, you are!

Updated on January 13, 2015

My heart

isn’t a sponging house

for you to opportune

a day

to settle the debt of my esteemed love;

For

lent it I

not as a loan for repayment

of my own heart,

but yours own to barter -

heart for heart

and

love for love,

to be imprisoned

and

entangled,

forever, my beloved!
