A ride on quill!

Updated on October 19, 2015

Saddling myself with a passion to scribble

glad I was

to find my feelings in the saddle,

galloping fast

en route to creation,

holding on to thoughts invariable;

Lo! varying at times

to suit the swaying emotions,

high and low,

the jumps and jerks during the course

of this joggling venture

offers a thrill

in the pleasurable ride,

all the time

the horses eyes focussed on

the muse’s alms

craving for more

and

for more!

"Saddling myself with a passion to scribble" I could relate to. I do that all the time. Interesting poem. Thanks for sharing.

      Blessings to you.

I like the phrase "the muses alms." That's an interesting way to put it. Heartfelt words.
