A step at a time – the poem
A step at a time
And we see the sunshine
To play with dusts of heydays,
A step at a time
Then the dew drops crumble
To relay the green fresh rays.
Sunshine to dust,
A luxury relay fast.
Heydays to crumble,
Dew drops resemble.
A step at a time
We see the babies smile
To dream and touch the invincible,
A step at a time
Then new futures shine
To concord and rhyme the invisible.
Smile to touch hearts,
A few promises to touch.
Invincible to concord,
Future aimed to decode.
A step at a time
To a new sky for a fly
Moth to fire and life to death,
A step at a time
To address the crux cry
Silence noisy symphony to birth.
A birth to cry and be a moth to fire
Crux knows the fable to tire,
But we take steps to retire
Silence to noisy sky for attire.
A drop by drop to make the ocean
A step by step to cover thousand miles,
A piece by piece of memory to make a life
A day by day to weave numerous tales.
A step a day at a time
Knowing saga but only without essence,
Senseless run to win
Birth to death… a step ahead at a time.
Then also we walk
For what and to where?
Then also we fight
For what and for whom?
Then also we live
Just to die,
If only we remember to love
Just to live more before we cry.
If only we know to love
For Him… for us…. for the earth,
To make it a lovely walk
For a better tomorrow
A step at a time…to love and to live more.
