Tear Drops

Updated on February 20, 2016

Written for Poetry Month

When your heart is very heavy

You are feeling sad

Events turn around

Looks real bad

The day is not going well

You feel the heaviness in your heart

Pulling you down real fast

Pounding heartbeats drum

Echoing in my ears

Emotions running rife

Losing all control

Eyes closing tight

A teardrop trickles down

From the corner of my eyes

Relief floods my heart

While sobbing uncontrolled

Healing Teardrops

Tear Drops Alive

Dripping down

Each one alive

Throbbing with pain

Badly hurting

Running off

Without a stop

Flowing freely

Outpouring

Of emotions

Hurt feelings

Non-stop

Deluge

Slowly healing

Relief

Tears drop

cry your heart out

Tears

Tears

Great relief

Feelings

Washed off

Tend to heal

Caressing gently

Each heart beat

Erasing slowly

Painful memories

Comforting soothing

After a good cry

Tears ease

Pains of life

A unique and soul-searching poem. I love your line, "throbbing with pain." This is exactly how my tears feel when I think about my beautiful son, his passing, and how much I miss him.

I voted Up and all across (accept funny) and will share, pin and tweet for others to enjoy.

Hugs to you, precious lady - Audrey
