A special tribute to all Poets worldwide and especially on hubpages

Updated on December 27, 2012

Simply amazing poet here- He's actually a Poetic Pastor

Poetry engraves its true Presence in every way

The making of this poem is something of a spontaneous combustion of sorts. I just decided that my 100th hub should be a tribute to all the poets on hubpages, & in the world as a whole.

For some reason many poets aren't truly appreciated by a number of people, but its quite ok, because we have our share of fans as well, besides those who are more of the class of the Non-poet, or the not so educated in the arena of the "Iambic pentameter". This one's also for them as well.

Please bear with the fusion of high caliper terminology here, but I also delve deep into the symbolic foundations & true inner nature of words today and most especially many years back.

All poets worldwide

This Poem is for you :

Poetry is like a dance of worded shapes & symbols

signs that lead my spirit towards a true goal

Olympic in design Equestrian in Appearances

Deception is not our goals

not mine at least

Poetry achieves for the over achievers

Those self empowered addicted to twisted writings who all underachieved

Growth from within worded barricades

Like protruding branches or uprooted veins

Tightly secure defensive Boundaries literally smashed

Enduring the full charging of our earthly battery packs attached to the brainstem

Preparing for the microcosmic exploration of word powers in greater depths

Pure Imagination on constant overload

Picture this

A glorified world glamorous in its neural Etchings

From easel to Tyrannic Architecture of worded temporal signals

A mere pixel at first glance

Stemming towards the agonizing stress of compressive conjugations

Elaborate expressions begging for corrective correlation

but Poetry no way is it to conform to such moldings

constriction restrictions editions revisions unfolding

This is no ordinary piece of Jargon

Its words on high lift on cloud nine again

Words like this aren't purchased their sold to the higher bidder

No image can mock its defying grace and presence

All Personage lost

Personification utterly amplified

We learned it all in elementary class

The Bio Degrading system of academic proliferation

Defying the odds takes word powers

And A glossary I have

for I have conquered Dictionaries

Defeated Novels

Raddled the tough terrains of unjustified historical pages

ripped apart the gripping forces of Fictionalized Fairy tales

and stomped on the structures & supporting foundations of our worlds

The Britannica

For I am Poetry

Leader of the free world of worded expressions

Translator of wrongs to rights

Expressionist for those trapped in internal and external illusions

Delusional to those still paralyzed by a systemic reality

yet a Treasure to those who learned early

That reading between the lines

Is my trust purpose

I am words on course for a final destination

Your soul is where I aim

To reach in

Pick at

Then inadvertently Drag out

those who are left to be saved

from the conformity

of Petrified frame work

Forever trapped in Prose

To all those who despise poetry or a single poet - (For amusement purposes only)

Poetry historically speaking has provided humanity with such a beautiful art form painted across the pages of time. Anywhere from Maya Angelo, Alfred Tennyson’s amazing poetry in the 1800's, to William Shakespeare classical plays. With that said I would like to pay tribute to all the poets who own this poetical universe of words, sort of speak. We're mostly untouchable, and lurk in the darnedest of places especially on hubpages. There are many of us, and we might be looked at as viruses that suddenly sprang fourth onto the webs of time, quickly spinning spindle fibered words of wisdom, many imitating our crawl and truest presence.

The thing is, we are always ready for proverbial combat, after taking vernacular beat down, after beat down. We're armed with creative juices, full of fresh terminology. Outlandish vocabulary is our arsenal, and heavily guarded force of reinforced concreteness, fully backed by magnificently supplied wits & intelligence. The sharpest most def defying armaments of compelling knowledge, which by the way is flowing monumentally. We refuse to stand down to those who aren't yet liberated enough, to write such brilliance in the form of worded potency or expressiveness. "Pure & uncut Poetry"

Just like any Army or combat team that gets recruited, our strength is in numbers, and if you fear our true force or not, we shall become known for our dignity, integrity, commitment, courage, honor, and wicked dedication to the vicious thrown of literature & the will power to defy any status quo of those who've claimed to have defeated us, or over thrown us with cunning verbiage in prose form.

Those who've all gone before us, high up in that literary cavalcade up above the clouds, we pay homage to you all, and give praise to thee. For poetry is our outlet, and inlet to the open & adventurous mind, to the world of detachment, and to the world of ideas aka Plato's Allegory of the Cave.

Love us or Hate us we're Poets

Do you hate poets or love them? or simply disgusted with poetry or can't live without it, get in the action & take a vote

@ Ubanichijioke, thanks for stopping by as well. I figured someone had to do this, because I noticed a great deal of poets on here getting beat down with words by those who feel its just filler for keywords, I can tell when I read a bunch of hubs all pointing out this same sort of envy towards us poets.

I love poetry, but I'm a hell of a prose writer too, and so I am heavily armed in both forms of writing today, plus I've done my research to back up a great deal of what I supply as well. Those who think otherwise, oh well let them hate, its our fuel as poets to prosper on further I guess.

I truly appreciate any feedback I get these days, because the lord knows not everyone is open minded, to share a comment of two.

Poetry is a beautiful form of writing. Amazing the way it seems to flow through one period of history to the next with new characters and flavors at each turn. This hub made me remember just why I love studying, reading and writing it so much. Thanks :)
