A wild-goose chase!

Updated on May 30, 2014

Stretching my arms

manage I

to touch

the tip of your attire,

and before you retire

turn around,

flash a lightning smile

with a wink of an eye;

to tire

a sore heart,

desire not;

the more you linger

the merrier I become;

But, lo dear,

you vanish into thin air

chilling my warmth,

and attempt I

at the fluffy cloud

that fizzles down frills

meant for your

pretty frock!

My dear,

relish I

the thought of love

until your return!
