A Dad Can Enjoy Halloween Too (limerick)

Updated on October 5, 2012

On Halloween night wife would stay

To watch ghouls and ghosts safely play

And me I was dandy

To keep myself handy

To help put kid’s candy away

Haha! Hope that you don't put TOO MUCH of that candy away, if I catch your meaning. In other words...save some for the kids. :)) Halloween will soon be upon us. Let your conscience be your guide. (Smile)

Hahahaha, sure, dads are part of the treats...whenever dad wants one, he's got some. :)

Sounds like my dad. There always seemed to be a lot less reeses peanut butter cups after he "inspected" my candy for danger. Funny!

Uh-huh. Putting it away in your tummy is the best part. I like to sneak the little Almond Joy bars. Yum! What a cute little poem you write. Thanks for the smile.

I remember when this occurred at my house. Had to check all for razor blades. Usually did it after the kids were in bed. Very close checking, to say the least. Great Job!
