A Hero Is Born Everyday (limerick)

Updated on December 3, 2012

Though perils got worse by the hour

Still from fray this man didn’t cower

Insanity rife

Till he went for knife

To cut cake at wife’s baby shower

Martin, I just love your limericks. They make me belly laugh every time! Disclaimer: if they are not meant to be funny I'm glad you don't know where to find me!

He certainly does look deranged! Let's hope the cake sweetens him up! Wonderful limerick as always.

      Morning Martin.

You sure can rattle these Limericks out, and each one as good as the last.

You either have it or you don't, and I think you got a double dose of the incredible art of writing Limericks.

      LOL Ghaelach

LOL! Could imagine the panic at the baby shower, while all this "hero" wanted to do was cut cake! Thanks for making me laugh today!

Hahahaha! I can imagine the face of the husband cutting his wife's cake from this picture. Chuckle!

I agree with billybuc. I wonder how you find these ideas, posting them so fast in multiples that I can't even catch up, lol. Epigramman is the same with his poems, lol.
