A Life So Real (poem)
A life so real a dream well spent
One wonders where the time all went
Return to stars for just one scent
Why smiles now blossom mid lament
-
A flowered field was love’s assent
A paradise it would invent
And to this cause life’s blessings lent
That every quest brought sheer content
-
Soon all around knew what Joy meant
Forgotten was all discontent
Forgotten was all need to vent
When fate would show its harsh intent
-
The mornings grant a whole new hue
So different from one it knew
When it would lend its splendor to
A life so real a dream come true
