A Simple Dance (poem)

Updated on March 7, 2017

In a field of fancy flowers

Fanciful in their display

They would waive away the hours

In a way they caused dismay

Daring duo timeless dancing

Dally here a moment more

Sultry sways induce romancing

Endues winds of passion soar

Each eye’s yearning everlasting

Yearn in rhythm to their heart

Molding movement to dream casting

Dreaming time won’t play its part

Take this moment hold it tightly

Holding hoping never ends

Live life grand and fan it brightly

Fan your fields of flowery friends

I'm dancing the dance of joy. Enjoyed your poem and it brought me back to summertime.
