A Teardrop’s Dream (poem)

Updated on January 31, 2017

A teardrop warmed its dream within his heart

It’s there she found a haven for her hope

It’s there where her last wish might find a start

For this all else in life she’d learn to cope

-

A single tear such wonders set aglow

It’s there where Joy so freely danced with life

It’s there where her delight put on a show

For this all else in life was worth the strife

-

But soon the tear would have to bear its fruit

It’s there she found a comforting reply

It’s there she found the scars of her pursuit

For this all else in life would have to cry

-

For this all else in life would gently stream

It’s here a teardrop came to warm a dream
