A Valentine Or An Idea (limerick)

Updated on June 18, 2013

I took my wife out for a treat

And all of her friends said how sweet

What they didn’t know

My reason for show

At home there was no food to eat

Not responsible for a wife who gets an idea from this limerick.

Hey Martin never mind the wife getting the idea, I think it's a great idea.

Now what was that phone number for the restaurant?

      Have a warm Sunday.

From a cold, white-out Düssledorf, Germany -7 and snowing.

      LOL Ghaelach

As Tom Waits once sang ......"better off without a wife"

And Sir Martin - you are still the funniest man in Hub show business.

Eating out with the wife, Martin, is fine and dandy,

But much more expensive than giving her candy!
