A feeling of emptiness

Updated on February 6, 2011

Loneliness is like a silent ghost it presence felt but cannot be seen. It envelops over your body, grasping the last of your warmth before you succumb to the fear and cold that embraces your soul.

The light can be seen at the end of the tunnel, if only you could reach... it is too much to make the effort and the depths of thought you are in is now a comfort, a way of life. Opening out your arms will only encourage them to question your ability survive.

To sit alone among the confinements of your life and consider the next move is too despairing to contemplate. The cold night whisks you into depths that you have never experienced and darkness clouds over the dimming light at the end of the tunnel which turns to total blackness.

ps...l love the clouds in your photo in this artical.....

if you study them you can see three people and a baby (a woman/or a female child holding hands on the right hand side..... so you aren not alone..maybe somewhere there are these special people that were in your life...or to come.....,

Thanks for your comment. It is not about me, its about a friend going through a tough time. I was thinking about them and decided to write this. I never looked at the photo in that way, you have a good point.
