In The Twinkling Stars, Paradise Regained: A Sonnet. Poems x 2
In The Twinkling Stars, Paradise Regained
Floating on the firmament of bliss,
Magic carpet gliding through yon spectred moonlight,
I lose myself in the ambrosia of Your Love-Delight,
And silence reigns supreme.
O Breath of infinity’s dawn,
Cradle the delicacy of my experience;
Magnify its beauty unparalleled,
And sustain my inner equipoise.
Gleaming on this crescent kite I lie in trance,
Intoxicated by Your zenith-bliss;
As silent as the ocean’s bed,
Shimmering with the light of a thousand suns!
O beauty sweet! O golden sunrise!
Here in this celestial valley of twinkling stars,
I have regained the paradise of my perpetual joy. – Manatita 18/8/13.
A peace meditation
Abode of The Great Unknown
On the Elysian lap of death, I sojourn.
Tunnel of Light and visitations appearing,
From an unfamiliar realm of the Great Unknown.
I have transported from the couch of living memories;
Passed through the room of silken pillows,
To an abode of transient rest.
O Death, worthy messenger who would seek
To paralyse my limbs and freeze my heartbeat,
By Your impending presence. Where is Thy fear?
O Faith, one day we’ll cross this kernel of darkness-night,
To one of pristine clarity.
Where I shall then sleep, in the nucleus,
Of Your tomorrow’s golden sunbeams. – Manatita 19/8/13.
