About Pauline (poem)

Updated on September 19, 2013

What can I say about Pauline

Most wondrous girl young heart had seen

Each day rich kisses would convene

And dreams would fill times in between

-

We fell in love when eyes first met

And from Pauline mind never set

Each day enjoying love’s duet

Beyond the world beyond regret

-

Lush gardens grew mid my Pauline

Fare flowers marked the paths we set

As breezes from our sweet duet

Spread scents of ever there between

-

Yet worlds were stranger when we met

A pair like us was rarely seen

Each day a darkness would convene

To cast a world beyond regret

-

And there we were caught in between

Forced with our races to convene

When days ahead was trouble seen

What can I say about Pauline

Beautiful of that young love, so carefree to start out ...

      Up and more and sharing

      God bless, Faith Reaper

      Thought provoking, Mr. Martin.

Your words run much deeper than the words upon this page.

You are the slippery sly one!

It makes us think, doesn't it? Great depth in this poem.
