Addicted To Ruins

Updated on April 14, 2012

Somewhere in my heart

You still make the beats go high

And I must tell you

You come as tears in my eyes...

I know I'm living on ruins

I am without you

Some kinda pain has struck my heart

In need of you

I know I wiil love you

Even after I die

I got addicted to you love

for my fucking life

Those memories cause pain

I wish I was slain

I want'em plucked out of my mind

want'em struck out of ma soul

But I still know I will love you

Even if I am slain

I got addicted to you

Your my fuckin pain

      rahul0324,

Love can be infuriated, but moments of overwhelming passion can be well worth one’s anger later.

Love this to the cord emotional poem.

      Your Hub Friend,

      Bobbi Purvis

What a ride this poem is, its raw and uncut poetry embarking on the hurtfulness of attachment to some sort of dependence, at least that's my take on it all. Nice!

Your linguistics here definitely doesn't hold back neither. Interesting delivery and climax of an ending.

I must agree with poet83, the title is great and it's what drew me in. Yes, the anger and hurt is palpable in this piece but it's also transparent and honest. These are very real feelings that are expressed powerfully. I've found that writing, poetry in particular, provides a great release. A catharsis for such emotions as this that if left inside can only fester and grow worse. This was well written and impactful. Voted up and awesome too!
