Albena's Answered Prayer by Manatita

He looked beseechingly into her eyes and smiled,

And her soul flew to the horizon.

The radiance of the glowing sun, Merged

with the warmth of the joyful flutter inside her heart,

As she cried with overflowing delight.

Long had she travelled; Toil had she done,

to culminate in this unspoken moment.

Indeed, Albena embarked

On a seemingly fruitless search.

Now, at this angel-blessed moment,

The song of gratitude was like a sweet psalm,

Brought by the nightingale itself,

Caressing her re-awakened emotions,

On this serene and blissful stop in time.

He stirred, and his dainty feet

Pattered beneath her breast,

As she lifted him to her bosom

To give his pure white sustenance.

Slowly, hunger and emotions abated;

They both fell into reverential silence.

You have taken a handful of words and made something very beautiful out of them. Just awesome.

      Blessing.

A very serene, pious and heart rending depiction of mother-child duo and their destiny- a constant struggle with survival and their embrace with a very kind bosom of the Absolute. Really a wonderful stuff, Manatita.

You have encompassed the emotions of the moment when mom holds her new baby in her arms and begins breast feeding. This is a powerful moment I was able to witness with the birth of my children, but you have seen into the depths of the woman's experience and have returned with your well written words. Thank you.
