Alcoholic

Updated on September 26, 2011

Alcoholic

You started out

You didnt approve.

Now it seems it's a part

Of your every move.

I can't say anything

You get so mad.

You drink too much

It's really bad.

You said only with friends

Not a lot.

That's not a valid excuse

After your 23rd shot.

I want to help

It's quite a scare.

I wish I could help

I really care.

I really love you

Love you a lot.

Oh the goes the

24th, 25th, 26th shot.

You think I'm joking

Trying to make you mad.

I honestly think you have a problem

It makes me sad.

Why don't you see the problem?

It's effecting you and I.

I'm done trying to drink with you

I can't even try.

You get all emotional

And you usually cry.

I need to keep a clear head

So I can be the fix it guy.

It's not fair to me

Your drinking puts on strain.

It's eating me up

It's hurting my brain.

I hope you grow up

And realize your flaw.

Otherwise I'm leaving

Leaving you in aw.

I want you back to normal

The way you used to be.

I want you back to normal

Please be fair to me.

Interesting metaphors and intriguing images. I loved your boldness between the lines.
