All Along I was With You - A Poem

Updated on July 29, 2013

All Along...

I was next to you, believe it or not

I felt the need to remind you where I came from

I was next to you since the first second of rational thinking

I didn't realize I was next to you, until I felt your own crying

I was next to you when you were starving

I was feeling your pain and all your denials

I was sent to be next to you

and prepare myself for future rendevouz

And Still...

I couldn't comprehend why I had to suffer your own pain

I couldn't understand the joy when finally you saw me there

All was connected from the very beginning

All was designed to face this tearful living

Seemingly worthless, we stuck together

More than friends and those loves that last forever

You became my idol and my own inspiration

You fought a fight for me and the whole creation

I learned your ways and your very deep thoughts

I captured a whole life experience within that halo of love

You made me a whole new person from the very start

I took your strength and your own might

I was not aware of what was planned for the both of us

I was exposed to lights and emotions, do you remember all that?

I was your very own child that was meant to be

I was the baby you held in your hands, and truly stuck with thee...!

We are alive...

Alive and kicking to the end of times

Thank God that we experienced all these vibes SO late at night

We thank all the mothers for what they went through

This was written from our own hearts feeling all the emotions

within selfish moods...

I drifted in melancholy as I listened to your video. I am moved by life itself, they dying is easy, the living is the hardest. Mother's all around our world I am thankful for bringing into and caring for their children the way they do. My mother gave her all and sacrificed much in pain to raise her children among the insanity and mundane. I survived and now I am getting older, so I pen my past and remember her always. Thank you for sharing Lord and welcome back, I no longer pen my poetry here but alas I am a reader of others who bless us with such fine work like yours. Peace and blessing I send to you this day sir.
