Alone now and here after

Updated on June 11, 2014

I sit here, not in a corner or even the dark,

The pictures that repeat in my head seem to fade in and out,

I guess like flashbacks of memories, I like but don't love with my heart,

My place here and now, but always missing, hopelessly never to be found,

In this time which I found evil in the present,

It wastes your life, and mostly for nothing,

For what do I owe life to suffer this harsh lesson,

I pray for something, but still nothing,

Always nothing, I guess that's what I have at least....nothing,

My cries can never be heard for the ears of man is attuned to death,

I see the point of living is just nothing, like the nothing now,

The days spin in whirls around and around, but for what reason,

My destiny has found is path and that's on solid ground,

No flying for me, I'm just here changing with the seasons,

Still nothing here or there,

In this lifetime, our journey is forgotten,

Even my lungs does not fill with air, My skin feels bare,

The lost continues to be lost, and the life we live is spoiled rotten,

Where will life be lived in peace, will we dance together with love,

Will the sun shine as bright as life should, and will life be something to look forward to,

Will you hold my hand and be with me, through the mist of this sorrow and live like we are suppose to,

Together.

An interesting poem! We are given life, some tools to see us through and the will to choose, nothing more. There are influences, good and bad, life can often feel like a minefield, but we all have our paths to travel, as I get older, I can begin to see how incredible this world is. What are the chances of us even existing at all in this chaotic universe. We need to go out and claim our lives and live it to the full. I enjoyed the read, voting up.
