Poetry .Can anything happen before its time?
Is It Possible?
How can I sit here
and argue
whether I believe
Anything can happen
Before its time
What do you think?
Hope your answer
is not yes!
Are you telling me
That if the nickel
Had just waited
a little longer.
By this time
it would have actually
grown to be dime?
I think we are
Forgetting something.
Not everything
in this life
grows to get bigger.
The wise argument
in this case
Is whether or not
Age and Older
equates to
A bigger or smaller
stage.
You may ask
Can something grow
younger?
Maybe it can grow
older!
Before its time?
Haven’t we all
heard this before
Can two of anything
Grow at the same
rate
Identical twins
At different times!
Everything it seems
already has its place
on line.
Decided by that same
force.
even before time.
Now after they have
both suffered
destruction as their
fate.
There is no true witness
For
Creation or evolution?
We are all too late.
So instead of going
forward
We feel the need
to go back
Interfering with the
past.
Great!
Satisfaction demands
we unwind the clock.
Man oh man!
Everything we already
taught and learned
Now sits on the rocks?
But there is time
It will always be around
But for us
Maybe that sound
of silence
Where are going back
To where we begun
Back to creation
Back to the ground.
Stage none!
Nothing can happen
Before its time.
Let that nickel
be that nickel
And let the dime
take its correct
place
In the double nickel
Line.
Because nothing
can happen.
Before its time!
