Am I Playing Love?

Updated on November 18, 2015

The love

between you and me

It wasn't there when we met.

It came to visit us later.

Are we playing it now?

Time keeps a reminder

of things

Even, when it doesn't turn out to be

the same.

Whom shall I blame?

I have not lost

a piece of my heart

Only gathered few more memories

to live by.

I'd have been sorry

I'd have been in sorrow,

if found guilty of loving you,

for reasons,

for selfish things.

Thought of loving someone

is a bigger treasure.

Am I playing love?

I’m playing love

only if you’re playing love.

You held my heart

looking through the reflection

in the water.

I caught you

keeping it safe there.

We're playing love.

Our shadows

Our reflections

leave a better image of us.
