An Angel Went Home
A Beautiful Life Cut Short
Angel wings fluttering, a warm breeze whispers through my soul.
The sound reaches my ears, the cherubs’ soft laughter eases my heart.
I feel the gentle brush of butterflies across my face, amid the chaos of the day.
I turn to look, I strain to hear, I begin to believe that Heaven is near.
My eyes are closed, my breath comes shallow,
I hear her voice, an angel singing in my ear.
I turn around in wide eyed disbelief, it is a human voice,
Endowed with the beauty of the Gods.
Who could this be, I wonder aloud,
Tis’ Whitney, an answer comes from the clouds.
Whitney? I whisper, almost to myself.
The voice crescendos’ until it surrounds me
I listen in delight as she sings of her love,
Her love for the children, her love for family.
As the songstress continues, singing notes previously unknown, I am assured that the Angel called Whitney will
Always Love Me.
Rest in Peace, My Love.

Heaven
Who new that Heaven is in Ohio? No, this is not the same Heaven that Whitney went home to, but it is the only one that I could find on a map.
