An Early Morning Start

Updated on April 11, 2014

Why Not

I was laying in bed and had the nicest dream

My body well rested and I looked at the clock

It's four in the morning

What are the chances of looking at the time right on the hour

I rolled off my covers and climbed out of bed

Let me start my day

With my hand on my chest I can feel my heart pumping

It's trying to tell me something

Go out and enjoy your day while everyone else sleeps

Pretend your a detective looking for a clue

An F.B.I. agent on a secret mission

Do what you want

Just get the ball rolling

Use whatever creative story line that draws you toward the world of excitement and passion

How many hours in a day do we actually call our own

We have to go here or there

Work later

The list is endless and more things pop up during the day

I am not sure what will happen in five hours

When I am dragging my feet and my eyes are closing faster than an elevator door

I will have to stick it out

Lift up my head and say to myself

I did so much already my day is so much better

Wow

I am so proud of my body for going into high gear

When will this happen again ?

I am not sure

Maybe you are like me and got the same urge

Feeling in the groove and just want to move

No coffee or energy drink needed

Just passion and drive and love for this wonderful life

My cat Charlette just gave me a look

      Hi DREAM ON.

How encouraging it is when human spirit cooperates so well with the body and on time subconsciously wakes it up on time. Then ability to discern right and wrong kicks in and here we go: we work, produce, making the world better place…

      Voted interesting.

Our early mornings begin when my mind starts working and I cannot sleep any longer because inspiration is flowing in. My Sid gives me these glaring looks and once I'm settled by the PC he plops on the bed, sighs and goes back to sleep. lol

Nice one. Being a person who always needs an alarm clock to be awakened, it does surprise me when, on blue moon nights, me body awakes exactly on the hour. I must confess that I get a little freaked though, probably because of all the horror movies I've consumed over time. I'll try to look at it from your perspective from now. Hopefully, this will make me more productive than scared. :)

Yes it's amazing how you can wake exactly on the hour. I do it all the time and never have to set an alarm If my wife tells me she has to be up at 6am, 5am whatever, I am guaranteed to awake at that time. It seems I have an inbuilt clock. It's great to wake earlier than need be with the energy to start the day and make the most of every hour. Well done Dream On. I enjoyed this.
