An Intelligent Warning

Updated on November 9, 2010

Know that there is nothing you can hide

that which you do

is mine to discover

for a mere question

your life to unravel

Your faults to witness

Every pen shall speak clearly

as to what it wrote

every paper attests to fault

every wall repeats its whispers

even your body turns traitor

I am Justice

before the father

death, damnation

for the cursed.

I am set aside

by Christ alone

if one fulfills

his requirements

to blot out the past.

Fear the very ground beneith you

fear the very place you stand

there isn't a spot

I can't find you

no where to hide

no where to shroud

you might as well shout

your guilt from the roof tops

in the end I will erase any doubt.

Thats quite alright Dave, sometimes poetry and its substance are like the notes and sounds of Opera and if done right I feel they are intended to be so. A poet is of a clever tongue who must allow to not always be understood but in not conveying clearly he must leave a flavor distinct for all to enjoy its savor and perhaps by and by understand the truth. I just hope when that day comes for you the savor was worth the tasting.

I really enjoy your poetry. Often I donot get the meaning, but the words touch me just the same.

      Brother Dave.

Thank you. It was an extention of a scripture I tripped across.
