An Unpunished Situation

Only a chosen few are put up to the task of deciding the future of an individual who committed a crime, based on testimonies, character witnesses, and closing remarks of attorneys. Not everyone can agree with the Verdict. This writer reflects on events of present time and poetically organizes the events so to see it as it is.

No act truly goes unpunished. You can bet that George Zimmerman will spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder and will have very little peace in his life. That is the punishment that we'll have to settle for for now, but ultimately he will be judged by God almighty. And no one escapes HIS justice.

Very creative poem. This was just another example of how justice doesn't always prevail when it's decided by man. Sad situation. Voted up!

Absolutely AWESOME, Christina! Thank you for this. I haven't turned my tv on since the verdict. i am ill.

justice and the law just keep getting further and further apart.

it's a veritable 3 ring circus. how embarrassing - AND dangerous!
