Ancestors- We Are One
We are all ancestors unto another.
The writer is the ancestor of the reader.
The builder is the ancestor of the user.
The teacher is the ancestor of the student.
The cook is the ancestor of the hungry and so it goes on.
But the ancestor of us all is the earth,
Into the earth we all go, two legs, four legs, feathered, scaled, furred and legless.
Out of the earth comes our substance.
Trees give ozygen, soil gives growth.
Animals give food to the body and food to the earth.
Humans give food to the earth and food to the worms, and so it goes on.
Without this circle we could not even exist as machines.
With this cycle we live as a moment of everything.
The trees, the earth, the sky and the sea – we are all one.
