Anchor Your Dream
Do you ever find yourself
drifting from your shore,
wondering where it is
you are supposed to be?
Why do we cling to the safe side,
never allowing ourselves
to experience the unknown?
Are we terrified of what others may think?
All the time watching our dreams
sink into obscurity.
Take a chance.
Make a leap.
Or do you prefer to hide behind your pride?
Life awaits your answer.
It’s time to anchor your dreams.

Further Thoughts about Dreams
I find it rather interesting how we are inspired in hearing stories of people making their dreams a reality. Many are touched, and some are even moved to tears. But when it comes to our own dreams, we push them away from our reality. Many say:
“Dreams don’t come true. What am I fooling? Only in fairy tales and Hollywood films do they happen.”
Hogwash. You are a powerful creator that is here to do great things. Never for a second believe you are less than that.
What inspires you? What motivates you? Your heart is a wonderful compass for pointing you in the right direction. The late Joseph Campbell said it beautifully:
“Follow your bliss.”
If you follow your ego, you will be led astray. You will be very unhappy. Your enthusiasm and passion for life is what it’s all about. Check out the word enthusiasm.
Here is what yourdictionary.com had to say about this interesting word: “The source of the word [enthusiasm] is the Greek word enthousiasmos, which ultimately comes from the adjective entheo, ‘having the god within,’ formed from en, ‘in, within,’ and theos, ‘god.’”
Therefore, when we are enthusiastic we are allowing God, the Universe, the Source, or whatever name you want to give it, to flow through you. I strongly believe that when you are in the high frequency states, such as love, joy, passion, enthusiasm, you are in alignment with the Universe. Great and magical things happen when you are in these high vibrational states.
Step from your comfort zone and follow your heart. We have dreams for a reason. And as the great songwriter Sting has so eloquently stated:
“Let your soul be your pilot.”
