And The Fields Burned

Updated on February 4, 2015

It was almost like an extreme confession,

the soldiers fell easily into fatigue

and depression,

even during the battle,

the summer wore on

perversely calm,

and beautiful while the fuse

of human destruction turned,

and the fields burned,

family members at home would fear,

because the atmosphere was tense there,

they had to fight,

there was no choice,

in a toneless voice,

but nevertheless frightened the soldiers,

the word was heard,

Suddenly, the daylight went black.

that is the tale of a soldier.,. Such a pity that people are sent to death's jaw while those who sent them enjoy at the comfort of their elaborately built homes.

War is evil (just my opinion)

      Keep writing,.,
