And All Ceased

Updated on April 15, 2011

the adjoining

of dimensions

has left me breathless

rendered me helpless

in the debris

of eradicated nations

and out of the ashes

i cross over

into the wonder

of new places

born and born again

only to die again

and once more fade

trapped in time

lost forever in debate

as masters of mind

state their case

attempting to explain

that which left them

also breathless

once upon a day

which became a night

history would cherish

and kings would try

to abolish

from the books

and the memories

of those who witnessed

the final transition

the last stand

of men against gods

and the silver streaks

created art in the sky

echoing colors and thoughts

across stretches of space

into sharpening wits

and the feeble of mind

I'm asking you now

to open your eyes

and behold a vision

an inconceivable sight

as dimensions collide

to erase separation

and rules to abide

so that wings are no longer

required to fly

It's another outstanding Benism. You catch the most intangible essences. There are s many points, I can't comment on all of them. Very good!

Delightful. I liked the way you threw in striaght forward language that makes one wonder, is this fiction? I often wonder if we cannot fly, because we believe we cannot fly.

Ben, your writing surpasses any words I can find the words to describe the depth, beauty and wonder of it all. Amazing!
