And then I found love

Updated on August 15, 2011

And then I found love
after many a heartbreak
I’m allowed to feel

What it means to love
that kind of love
truly sets one free

We accept each other
with all of our flaws
a love unique
which brings us joy

We stand together
together as one
we comfort each other
and also have fun

We talk for hours
in a row
as we share our wisdom
our knowledge grows

the time that we have
I finally found
my other half

This is a beautiful poem and it sure would be nice if everyone found unconditional love. Robert Hewett Sr., aka
