Another Brave Seaman Meets His Fate (limerick)

Updated on July 20, 2013

My course I swore never to fail

Through snow wind and hail I’d prevail

No seas could unfurl

My quest for my pearl

Till wink of cute girl caught my sail

Her meaning was clear and her wink you bought,

She was more beauteous than the pearl you sought.

I love it! The man starts out focused and determined, and is sidetracked by a cute girl. Lol.

My father was a Navy man,

      my mother winked at him!

If it wasn't for the flutter of lash,

I'd never have gotten the chance to meet them.

Lol, very sweet limerick! Voted up!

The wink will do it all the time, it's brought many a seamen to his knees and dry docked for some time recovering from the aftermath of that wink. Nicely done my friend.

Men, so easily distracted! ha ha! I swear, ADD was first discovered in men, but it actually stands for Attention Deficit Disorder... oh wait, that is what it means... Okay, I'm sleep deprived, what can I say... there's something in these limericks :D
