Another Sonnet (poem)

Updated on June 23, 2015

Put on another dress for me a tie

Another time to celebrate is due

Another merry promenade with you

For us our age is just another dye

-

For us to share another thing or two

Another day creates a wondering eye

Another dreams to be like you and I

To set another memory in dew

-

A picture of another we did that

Their shock for us was just another show

-

For us another color never matte

Another chance for stars like us to glow

-

To pose another flash from life’s rich vat

Another toast to say I love you so

As long as one is still breathing, there is always another chance : )

What caught my eye about your photo up there, Mh, is that I have those exact pair of shoes and today, I wore a white dress just like that ...but with a jacket! How odd ... I have always loved that song, but "love isn't silly at all"

Not sure of the other underlying meaning here in your poem, but I still love it.

Up ++++ tweeting, pinning G+ and sharing

      God bless

What an upbeat poem and in a different style for you, Martin. I love it!
