Answered Prayers 5: Another angelic poetry collection of inspirational poems
Don't be afraid to reach out to angels and pray to them.
Blessings From Above
I would love to thank you all for being supportive of my hubs, being great friends, and love my poetry. I hope to post more in the months to come, along with other non-poetry hubs this late summer to mid-fall. This is the last selection of four poems from this poetry book. Since I’m missing some angel thoughts and quotes to correspond with this collection, like in Soaring Wings 5, I would add them, if I can find them somewhere down the road. In the meantime, the last four poems would stand alone on its own. Stay tuned for another poetry collection in two days from another poetry book.
Forbidden Fruits and Spiritual Art
It’s not because angels are holier than men or devils,
It makes them angels to appear invisible on earth,
Clouds lower them from the ken to the ground,
Guiding us in our travels, protecting us from harm.
But because they don’t expect holiness from one another,
They turn to one person with orders and answers,
But it’s from God alone, who is the only one,
When they sway us from our forbidden fruits of life.
Angel quote: “It is not because angels are holier than men or devils that makes them angels, but because thy do not expect holiness from one another, but from God alone.”—William Blake
It’s to those who perceive through symbols,
The poets who write about an angel in few words,
The artists who paint, photograph, drawn or sculpt their image,
And the seekers who want to learn about their origin and world.
It was all kinds of spiritual art we share,
And it was for the meaning of Heaven,
That through it all, the angel makes himself known
Through words, assorted artwork, sculptures and in belief.
Angel quote: “It is to those who perceive through symbols, the poets, the artists, and seekers for meaning, that the angel makes himself known.”-Theodora Ward
Principality Angelic Guidance and Holy Trinity Blessing
Principality Angelic Guidance
When I pray at night beside my bed,
Kneeling down on the ground and looking ahead,
It’s for the Angel of God,my guardian dear,
To whom God’s love entrusts me here.
Even to this day, be at my side,
Protection for all, to rule and guide,
When in dark to light and guard,
And to humor us, when we’re not bored.
Angel thought #1: “Angel of God, my Guardian dear,
To whom God’s love entrusts me here;
Ever this day be at my side,
To light and guard,
To rule and guide.”—Traditional Prayer
Holy Trinity Blessing
The angels round the throne in pearls and diamonds,
Shining with sparkles in the white warm light,
And the saints that dwell below us all,
Watch us from up above in spreading peace.
Just remember the holy trinity blessing in prayers,
Worship the Father, our Lord and God in Heaven,
Praise the son of the holy ghost for our travels,
And bless the spirit, with good fortunes and with divine love.
Angel thought #5: “Ye angels round the throne,
And saints that dwell below,
Worship the Father, praise the Son,
And bless the Spirit, too.”—Mother’s Hymn Book, 1836
Heaven's Angels and Spriteful Presence
In Heaven, an angel is a special nobody in particular,
They’re just human spirits working for God,
To protect and watch out land over evil,
To play music, sing, read and write inscriptions.
Wings to fly to Heaven, and soar with clouds,
Halos above their heads to shine like stars,
They have voices to sing God’s praises in song,
God’s life, love, and peace them,
When it’s time, we’re an angel in the sky of course.
May it be young and innocent, as a cherub or seraph,
Or old and wise and mature as an angel,
Each rank has a specific duty or task,
In God’s eye, each special angel is there for all.
Heaven’s angels are nobody special,
They’re just like you and me, spiritually,
When you reach Heaven, we’ll be there with you.
Whenever and wherever you are, they’re around you,
Keeping a watchful eye from their clouds,
But they’re holy, so in a voice of eternal love,
And also so in a shapeless flame of white light.
Angels affect us often, whenever you go,
They’ll protect you from near and from far,
And angels are always worshiped be,
Though their spriteful presence is everywhere.
Besides a Bible, this prayer book will help you heal.
Heavenly Kingdom and True Colors
In the heavenly kingdom, the angels go around His throne,
All ranking angels surround God, so He won’t be alone,
The saints who live there and dwell below on Earth,
Their spirits rise, as they’re canonized and have worth.
They worship the Father, and praise his son,
That especially for all the work that’s done,
They bless the holy spirit or ghost, too,
In which helped them make it come true.
Angels are always there for all of us, everyday,
When it’s in a mugged crisis or rut,
Or when they’re in unwearable endurance,
And it aims, which puts sympathy out of the question.
When we combine all of these attributes of angels,
It’s when that the angels are shown too,
And for that, it’s when their true colors are here,
No matter, if they’re awake or asleep, on call.
