Anticipation of Arianna's Christmas
Just the thought...think about it with me for a moment if you will...just the thought of a child's Christmas....my daughters Christmas,
A moment in time...photo after photo I will take of that smile of my daughter Arianna...the anticipation I can't wait,
The look on her face when she sees the gifts Daddy bought for her...that twinkle in her eyes of more to play with...more to learn from,
The many Christmases that will pass...ever more gifts and love for my little one...Arianna's Christmas anticipation.
The moment of time in which she opens that first tricycle...the wheels that will carry her into the future...oh I can't wait,
She will ride her bike and daddy will ride his...beside each other we will ride the pavement into the sunset,
The sun will go down...riding back we will go with the stars shining brightly overhead...the heavens smile back at us,
It is with great anticipation that I just cannot wait...can't wait for the moment my daughter gives me the big hug.
It is in this moment I will see her love...not because of the gifts...but in that Arianna knows that Daddy would do anything for her,
The ends of the earth I would travel...the deserts I would walk to see my beautiful daughters blue yes and that little smile of heavenly appeal,
Tommorow it is Christmas...so in all forms I will display my love for my little angel...from kisses and hugs and walks...her little hand hold mine
To the presents that will enhance her learning experience...one two three...A...B...C...we will sing.
The grand finale is just around the corner...after all her presents have been opened...one will be left to be revealed,
Arianna's first Acoustic Guitar...the strings will be strummed...picking of tunes will be made...her eyes will glimmer with musical curiosity,
Daddy plays guitar every night she is with me...and so her heart yearns for the sound of strings...and Daddy can't wait,
This Christmas we will spend with two huge smiles...many hugs...and a Daddy and Daughter bond that will never be broken...Daddy loves you Arianna.
