Are you intent on accepting me?

Updated on September 11, 2012

I am not a toy

or a ring in your finger

I am an actual person

with emotions just like you

treat me good

you will see wonders

otherwise, you will see stars in daylight

and nightmares in your sleep

what you see is lovely,

I admit it,I must manifest:

A perfect porcelain figure.

Hair dark as night

Eyes like doves by the water streams, bathed in milk

Red lips like strawberries,

Legs like two sticks of butter,

but bear it in your mind

if you come to take your first steps:

I am a bomb on self destruct

A cut from a wrong cloth

A ferocious lioness if you look at me as your sexual target,

as a bull's eye

as an easy mark

But if you love me,

enough to marry me,

take me nowhere.

I will be fine if you give me just a ride around the city

just little things to get along with

a memory to hang in my cortex

a bouquet of flowers to wipe out my sulky weather

no leftovers I will take

nor brushoffs I will permit

nor a punch bag to blow off your steam

I will be when you come home pissed-off

Am I asking much?

if not,are you intent on accepting me?

if yes,(seek, and you will find;

knock, and it will be opened to you.)*

Men should respect women and treat them good.

Again a beautiful poem about the journey we all take finding our soul mate, that one person who will have our back when the whole world is against us, who will soothe our hearts and celebrate our triumphs

      A lovely write
