Naked is the silhouette of my enchantment,

Its golden curves mesmerising to my dreams,

An astonishment in its magnificence!

My heart cries in anguish, for the fire

Of an affectionate tenderness,

As sweet thoughts whistle, through my languished emotions.

Amidst a yearning so sublime,

Stirred and quenched only by the flames of Your charm,

Heartbeats whisper Your name, as I hear It,

Resonating in my Soul.

As the Seer swoons, inundated with celestial bliss,

So too, I lose myself in Your grandeur,

Passions rent asunder, aglow in Thy Delight.

Here on this couch of memories, I lie,

Burning with the fiery platter of anguished emotions;

Sapped with the tormented call of a distressed lover.

Tears on my pillow, I lie drenched,

Comforted only by the thought,

That Your inner Chamber is my abode of Love.

The Dance of Love: A Sonnet

Darkness berates my happiness.

Shadows stagger into the Light;

Despair is but a moment upon the wind.

Sadness comes, casting its veil

Upon the wings of beauty.

Birds soar above infinity’s blue sky.

Clouds shifts; sunlit ray’s peers through the heavens,

As life smiles anew.

The rain falls, and bluebells

Spring forth in gratitude,

Dazzling in their splendour!

The parched earth smiles again.

Love begets Its own bewilderment.

I just want to say that a great effort on a difuclt-to-express subject. Love indeed begets in its own bewilderment.

      Just LOVED these Lines:

As sweet thoughts whistle, through my languished emotions.

      Amidst a yearning so sublime,

Stirred and quenched only by the flames of Your charm,

Heartbeats whisper Your name, as I hear It,

I appreciate this Doris, and rest assured I do think of you.

Being naughty and stealing time to come away from my spiritual convention. Here another 8 days so I will connect when I return. Lots of singing, prayers, readings, meditations and things to keep my mind on God here in NY. Initially spent 8 days with my Sister who is sick in Houston, Texas.

So sorry to hear about your friend. My deepest empathy. Much love.

Hello Manatita, I saw that you were on line and just wanted to say hello and that I hope you are having a wonderful vacation in the States. I have not been hubbing lately…too busy with other things and am now quite sad since one of my dear friends had a massive stroke. She is not doing well. Well, be blessed and continue to enjoy your vacation. I just wanted to say, "hello."

So now I've found it, Dee.

Your grandmother looks lovely and very peaceful. I have also left you a fan comment and I believe your mails should come my way from now on.

Alas! you will have to wait till later today for my response. It is almost 0100 hrs here, in London, UK, and I will rise early to visit the Doc. More importantly, I wish to do justice to your Hub. What I have seen so far looks wonderful!

Hi Doris, (May I call you my sweet?)

I use the word in mystical as well as affectionate ways. I try to lift; to convey a feeling of affection; of inner sweetness.

Thank you so much for your touching words. I missed you. How is your grandmother's poem doing? Lots of love.

Your poetic words are powerful and reach the heart. Your gift is unique; it draws attention almost demanding to be heard. Your voice is gentle and captivates the soul with ease. You are blessed, and you bless us with your gift.

Your poll is missing the "All of the Above" button. That would have been my vote. I voted anyway.

The poems recreate in the reader that "yearning so sublime," which you are so good at initiating. You're simply good with displaying emotions in your poetry. Thanks for some great lines.
