At Night When The Moon Hung Alone...

Updated on April 5, 2010

Call of the night

when the moon hung alone!
when the moon hung alone!

At Night When The Moon Hung Alone, I got Drunk In The Smell Of Peach Blossoms!

What is that call the sea-wind sings?
The old, songs that it breathes..
It seems to breathe those million songs
Amidst the luster of sweet peas,

That spreads the message of hopes..’

As night sat beside me I whispered--- ‘Whence hast thou gone?
My love
When hast thou sang the songs
Of the times bygone
With the fragrance of the stock
That fills the air”

I heard the sighs of night -- ‘There high above the boughs so high
High above the Volscian heights
when the full moon soars , as if the yearnings of the yarrows...then for once Wear purple Wear purple tonight
I will spread the essence of love
Sing the song that entice
With those promises of statice..”

Bliss of the world
O night of spring
Spread thy love
Those sweet longings...........’

What a charming poem! You might want to edit the header in the first text capsule, though!

      Love and peace

Your poem does tend to paint a vivid picture of something so elusive as night.
