Atropos, a Poem

Beneath the early dark

wings, long unused fret.

eyes turned inward, Winter's mole,

divine Atropos' blade hesitates

a little more each day,

we hold on,

beggars and dreamers,

for the day sun

illuminates the sky,

our hearts and backs

warmed once more.
