I've forgotten

how to breath again,

the taste of your lips

denies the urge

to even take the time

to bother with

the suckling of air.

What need of such

an instinctual demand.

the endless cacophony of

breath in breathe out

all human functions

that convert air into

heart stimulations.

My heart has now

taken wings

into the very air

I willingly deny myself.

You sweetly overwhelm

them all as I drown

in your love.

Minutes pass

in a starvation

of oxygen

traded for

the succulence

of stereo lips.

Mouth to mouth

was never like this.

You are my

Rescue Annie,

I was breathing

only sorrow,

till we kissed.
