BULLY NOT AND WALK AWAY

Updated on August 11, 2012

So you can’t control yourself,

As you call your wicked names,

Could it be you lost your way?

While looking for your brains?

……………………………………………………..

Bullies don’t have a reason,

To laugh or pull your stings,

They live for bitter moments,

And the heartaches it will bring.

Source

A question about bullies,

Will bring you not an answer,

Don’t try to understand them,

Just don’t be there to batter.

…………………………………………………….

Bully not and walk away,

Your present is not needed,

So do your best to vanish,

Before the drama’s seeded.

Source

Don’t take wise this game of lies,

Or join in this bad play,

For tomorrow the page turns,

A very different day,

………………………………………………………

Advice for future bullies,

Can be a simple request,

Bully not and walk away,

To enjoy your happiness;

Source

The final thing one should ask,

To see a better kingdom,

Is being a friend to ugly ways?

Worth giving up your freedom;

………………………………………………………..

Understand we all are here,

By nature’s choice at hand,

Our creator chose our path,

And we live by His commands.

This issue strikes to close to home. I took much bulling in school mainly because I allowed the fat jokes to rule me. Kids can be mean. As I think of kids headed back to school I thought of this was a good time to write something hopefully to help them cope. Thanks, Mhatter99 for letting me know what you think.

I love the way you approach this issue. As Christians, we are supposed to turn the other cheek, but that is often difficult, especially for children - and for their parents when they see the bullying continue. I'm so glad that things like this are now brought out into the open and people are being made more aware of the consequences for both the bullied and the bully.

Very aptly stated. A fine piece of poetry.

Thank you, BlossomSB and aviannovice. This is a problem that should have been dealt with more openly years ago.

Thank you, pringoooals. I'm glad you liked it. Some subjects are hard to think about, but often need the most attention.
