An Open Letter to tell ISIS what I think of them

To all terrorist, domestic and foreign, no matter what your name or where you are born, you are killing and claim it is in the name of Allah, and you think you will meet Him your God.

You will meet your God, but it is not Allah, that you will meet. It is not seven virgins that you will greet. For if they are there, they like you will be feeding the fires of hell, Jahannam as you bow to your god Iblīs (Iblīs, is the Arabic translation for Devil.)

The Poem

The Band of Lost Souls

© by Shyron Shenko

With your band of lost souls

What is your purpose? What are your goals?

What do you gain by inflicting so much pain?

Is it beyond your comprehension, that Allah would not want these things

You have others strap on a bomb for you

As you teach them what to do

Looking out with lifeless hollow eyes

They don’t live long enough to hear the cries

Sent to their death because of your lies

What the suicide bombers are to you

That is what you are to the Iblīs/devil’s crew

As your body goes up in smoke

The devil/Iblīs has played on you, a cruel joke

Do you really think from Jahannam you will escape?

After all the recruited crushed spirits you laid at his gate

When the devil/Iblīs dishes up your fate

That is when you will know how you rate

When handing over your own soul to the Iblīs caliphate

Iblīs cannot deliver

The honor and glory that you were told

When you joined his band of lost souls

You have invoked compassion for your victims

And you’ve not turned our hearts stone cold

As you fight the flames of hell

And try to rest your weary head

I hope you will remember the lost souls you’ve led

And all the blood that you have shed

As you try to rest in your fiery bed

Osama bin Laden

According to former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer, who led the CIA's hunt for Osama bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader was motivated by a belief that U.S. foreign policy has oppressed, killed, or otherwise harmed Muslims in the Middle East.

I say it is you ISIS/ISIL/Iblīs caliphate that has harmed Muslims everywhere.

"They hate us for what we do, not who we are."

— Osama bin Laden

We need to shine brighter than they hate."

Au fait, thank you for the comment and for sharing. I do appreciate you.

We will never be able to get along as long as the greedy never get enough of their ill gotten gains. Reminds me of the I.R.S. scam, I had 10 calls from them yesterday, that is not a guess, I get so many that I have started logging them. The call comes in with a thick foreign accent and says "we have filed a law suit against you, to clear this, please call 206-238-0847. Then the person with an India accent calls and says "I am calling about your computer" and before he could say more, I said "you should be ashamed of yourself, you are a thief, a dirty rotten @#$%@$% no good piece of $$%$@&" and hung up.

I hope all is well with you.

      Blessings and hugs dear friend

Seems the whole world is overrun with terrorists of what sort or another. Too bad we can't all get along on what is getting to be a smaller and smaller planet that we must all share. Speaking of sharing . . .

Hope all is well with you. Take care . . .

I think the reason these people do such terrible things is because they were already lost. You will know the saved by their deeds. Presumably the unsaved are just as identifiable. Satan and his followers have already been judged and they are walking the earth causing as much mayhem as possible while they await their punishment, angry beyond imagination that they are to be destroyed. If these people are not possessed by evil let them turn from it and save themselves before it's too late.

      Sharing.

Kim, my beautiful friend. I also believe it is one's deeds that determine where one's soul in laid to rest, or in a state of unrest. Yes it wonderful if we all shared in a loving creed.

This is a powerful message and one to remember, Shyron. It strikes at the very soul of terrorism (if there is a soul there). Your poem is very well-written with a sword of courage and truth for your pen.

      Bless you, my friend.

A great poem relevant for these times of turmoil.

an eye to eye has blinded many nations.

      and generations.

People are dying due civic unrest,

may peace be with you and us.

      Being mild and open hearted,

      is way ahead.

Hello Shyron E Shenko. All perfectly spoken comments are in, and I am in agreement with every one of them stating your masterly created poem.

Indeed, this is perfectly described a wretched condition of"lost souls", the human beings who has commited their lives unto Satan under false assumptions. They serve Allah, a man-made fancy god. What else can we expect? Murdering innocents might be a highest satisfaction hate - filled human being thirsting after bloodshed that is only justly punished by the everlasting living God, the Creator of the universe. (Let this be realized by every murderer of baies as well as the adults.)

      Peace with us.

So true Shyron, well done, as others here have said why can't they realise that they are being lead by the devil? either real or psychological, worshipping a 'god' then killing is totally 'oxymoronic'! trouble is, your poem is too complicated for people who can't read like them, if they could read then they would realise that they had been, well, had!

O how passionately you express what is so very spot on, Shyron. It is so very heart breaking when those who perform such egregious acts ...the world reels from it...lives taken in an instant; families devasated but with renewed conviction the families move forward because they know that is what their beloved family members would want.

Thank you for sharing this with us...

Angels are on the way once again to those families and to you.

Amen, dear Shyron! Powerful and true words here. They hate our lifestyle of freedom, and yet they do not even realize how much they are in bondage, held there by evil ...yes, the Devil has their number. They are cowards.

It's all about forcing other people to do one's will because one believes they alone have the right answers. What arrogance! Arrogance is a sin, by the way. No one this planet has any reason to feel superior to anyone else. No one has to take my word for that. Let it come as a surprise in an unexpected moment.

Regardless of one's religion or way of life, no one should imagine they alone have all the right answers and the right to force other people to their beliefs. If one succeeds in forcing others to their will they take responsibility for that other person's sins that are committed because of their insistance. God gave us all a free will, and not so that some human with delusions of grandeur could take it away.

If not freely given it isn't truly love. God wants our love, not mere gestures to gain favor or to prevent evil actions by some human who imagines him or herself an agent of God in this life. Forcing another person to at minimum, honor and go through the actions and appearances of worshipping any God, just shows the world that the person doing the forcing does not know Jesus.

Your poem is so well expressed as always. Sharing of course

Hope you and John are in where it's warm and dry. Take care, and God bless!

Shyron, you've written a very powerful poem, every sane person on the planet shares your anger at this callous taking of human lives. How does one deal with those people who are already dead inside and are determined to take as many innocent souls as they can along with them. This is exceptional!

Excellent poem, Shyron. We need to live our lives and not let them win. They blow themselves up because they cannot persuade with words and ideas. It's cowardice, lack of personal talent, and lack of ability to inspire true change. Dumb cowards with no talent and no ability to change the world destroy themselves like that. There is no real message behind their terror.

As I told Ann on her hub, I have no answers. I had none on 9/11 and I have none now. I do not understand the random slaughter of people and never will...but I do know it must be stopped at all costs. In the end I will always believe that good will triumph, but I suspect much suffering will happen before we see that day.

It seems that the more who shout out against this, the more solidarity we create, the more force we have against this evil.

I have words of hate in my soul, for which I'm ashamed, but I will not let them win. I salute you for having used your excellent choice of words to address them.
