Bang! Bang! SCREAM!!!- Poem dedicated to Victims of Shooting Rampage

Updated on October 3, 2015

Bang! Bang! Bang! what I hear

Confused and full of despair

Everywhere • • • • • • flying

Pumping blood asking Am I dying

Figures shadows all Scream

Flowing pool of dark red cream

Sense slightly metallic sour smell

Feels am crawling in the hell

Scorching fire blurred in it me takes

What I've done don't know any mistakes

DrEaM DrEam DrEam DrEam

Let it be dReAm "I" "we" SCREAMMMM!!!

      Anumaha,

It is sad how many times I could cry over this poem. You've done a lovely job and I hope these words become old memories and not our future.

Up and more ~ Sharing too

I always wanted to write about victims of shooting rampage... went through some of the interviews and videos :( it left me with broken heart and confused mind. Hope I have done some justice with their feelings. PEACE...

      Waiting eagerly for your poems...:)

      Anumaha,

Trust me, I understand where your coming from. It was right after the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting that I came here and that was part of the reason for the 'Cantuhearmescream' nom de plume. I just don't understand how these things keep happening and why we don't work harder to guarantee it never will again! There is no price to high to keep our children safe. Michael Moore did a video called Bowling for Columbine, about the Columbine school shooting, back quite a few years now. I was watching TV one night when I stumbled across it and it made me sick and cry. I've got the video in my 'People and Guns Kill People... but mostly people' hub, it's on YouTube as well. Immediately after seeing that aired on TV, I wrote that hub because I was just so devastated and that was old news!

Yes, I'm sure you've done some justice and just knowing that you care and these people are not forgotten means a lot!

No need to wait for my poems, I've got 60 hubs to choose from! lol... Just published one tonight as a matter of fact! :D.... I'm joking, obviously, everything is a 'read at your own leisure' kind of a thing.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

I really do share your feeling on how and why these things keep happening...wondering if the killers have ever thought about the victims.

“There are many things worth living for, a few things worth dying for, and nothing worth killing for.”

      Anumaha,

That is an excellent quote! I love that and how true!

My heart goes out to these families and even the surviving children had their innocence taken from them. So many broken hearts. Call me crazy but I can't help but wonder how dark and scary the place must've been for the people doing the killing. It's as if someone had forgotten about them. You'd think these things could be seen coming... is anyone paying attention?

      Anamaha,

Very nice job....I was torn up by the Sandy Hook shootings and was terrified to send my children back to school in January. I cried for the families on New Years Eve since they were not bringing in the new year with their child. Writings like this bring me back to reality again (since I try to hide from it time to time!).

yea, you are right, things like this scares us and brings us back to the world of bitter reality. Everytime, I hear about these shooting rampages, my heart just cries out a lot.

Anyways let's just pray that these things will not happen again :)

      Thanks for stopping by :)
