Battle for Bend

Updated on October 27, 2011

Battle for Bend

Come my way,

meet my time,

help me my way

They say.

Come my way,

meet my time,

bend to my way.

I say.

No can do

slots are full

how about my time?

They say.

Why beg help

then demand form

why not my time?

I say.

I will wait

until you have time

to bend my way

They say.

Wait and wait

for I remain

unbent

I say.

@amaTainted I also intend the bending to be something of an open sign or open cipher. It's a metaphor the reader can fill with her own experiences of being pressed to bend to another's will even though the other party may be the one who should bend.

I edited to put the "I say" "They say" refrain in better connection with it's content. Sometimes hard returns on hubpages are wacky. Perhaps this makes the content of the conflict more clear.
